Evaluation of the Teacher and Professional Continuum Project (TPC)

The Teacher and Professional Continuum Project is a 4-year grant project funded by the National Science Foundation. RISE joined this project in the second year as the external evaluator. The purpose of this project is to develop resource materials to assist K-12 teachers in using writing strategies to improve students’ understandings of science. The end-products will be two books, one each for K-6 and 7-12 science teachers, as well as a professional development (PD) manual. Evaluation efforts include planning, developing, and administering surveys, observations, and focus groups
