Evaluation of the Science Writing Heuristic Grant (SWH)

The Science Writing Heuristic Grant was funded by the National Science Foundation. RISE was contracted to conduct external evaluation activities. RISE designed the evaluation to examine the degree to which the program fulfilled its goals to increase teachers� science content knowledge, improve pedagogy and understanding of the SWH, and build capacity through the district, AEA, and academic partnerships. The evaluation used survey data and teacher and AEA reports as data sources.
