Evaluation of the New Jersey Foreign Language Assistance Program (FLAP) Grant Project

 
RISE was the evaluator for the Consortium for Assessing Performance Standards, funded by a Foreign Language Assistance Program (FLAP) grant in September, 2003. The project provided professional development to world language teachers in the consortium, developed performance assessment tasks that could be used to measure national foreign language standards, and provided a template for development of benchmark assessments for school districts. Evaluation activities included evaluations of professional development and task development workshops, summer institutes for teachers, interviews with task team members, and an on-line survey of teacher participants. This project ended in September 2007.
