Des Moines Independent School District Drop Out Program
|
The intent of the evaluation of the Des Moines Independent School District Drop Out Program is to provide information about the impact of several drop out prevention programs on student success in school to the Des Moines Independent School District Administration. The information gained in this study will provide both formative data for ongoing performance accountability purposes and as the basis for improving how the Des Moines Independent School District can better meet the needs of students at-risk of dropping out of school. Programs in the evaluation include: SUCCESS, 9th Grade Transition, Intensive Career, Secondary Intensive Instruction, Attendance and Middle School Intensive. RISE researchers collected the qualitative and quantitative data during the 2006-2007 school year and will submit the final report in September 2007.
