Evaluation of the VR4U!: Integrating Low-Cost Virtual Reality into Design and Technology Graphic Curricular Project

 
The VR4U! project was funded by the National Science Foundation's Advanced Technology Education (ATE) program. RISE partnered with Dr. Shana Smith (P.I.) serving as the external evaluator. The project’s goals were to provide industry with a workforce that understands and uses virtual reality computer-aided design, to enhance students’ academic performance and interest in design and graphics courses, and to provide graphics instructors with “ready-to-use” virtual model libraries. A comprehensive evaluation plan was established and carried out to ensure the project goals were met.
