Iowa Regents Admissions Project

 
The admissions study resulted from a mandate by the Iowa legislature requiring the Board of Regents to review the state institutions’ admissions criteria. RISE’s work on this project involved working with ISU’s assistant vice president and registrar, and a committee assembled to review current admission standards and suggest alternative criteria for admission to the State of Iowa’s three major higher education institutions (Iowa State University, University of Iowa, and University of Northern Iowa). Typical tasks involved in this project included data analysis of prior admission data, as well as analysis based on a number of alternative admission criteria.
