The Iowa Aging and Disability Resource Connections Project (ADRC)

The Iowa Aging and Disability Resource Connections Project (ADRC) was co-sponsored by federal agencies, Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and Administration on Aging (AoA). RISE partnered with the Iowa Department of Elder Affairs to develop easier and better ways to help people connect with a number of services (e.g., health, housing, transportation, financial, and legal). The goal of this 3-year project is to provide older Iowans and persons with disabilities with good information and resources to support their choices for long-term living. As results of RISEs various evaluation activities, 16 different (quantitative & qualitative) data sets were collected; and, more than 4,000 Iowa households and 600 Iowans participated in these evaluation activities through surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
