Beginning Farm and Ranch Program Development
My research interest include: educational and non-profit program research and evaluation, qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, feminist methodology and epistemology, gender studies and inequalities, international development, environmental sociology, rural sociology, sustainable agriculture, and social movements.
I am originally from Des Moines, IA. I have worked with RISE as a Graduate Research Assistant since fall of 2015. I have experience working with children, youth, and families in schools and in social services. Additionally, I have served two years as an AmeriCorps member with City Year in Seattle, WA as a school mentor and team leader.
