Sunjin joined the RISE staff in January 2008 as a Graduate Research Assistant. She is a first year doctoral student in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Literacy Education. Sunjin received her masters degree from Michigan State University and her undergraduate degree from Yeongnam University in South Korea. Sunjin's research interest is focused on preservice teacher development and education and literacy research for teacher preparation. Her previous experiences include working as a teaching assistant at the child development laboratory school at Iowa State and as a head teacher at the Korean Language Saturday School at Michigan State.
