Brandi Geisinger is serving as the evaluator for the NSF Developing Resources for CISE REU PIs project. The goal of this project is to leverage the wisdom of experienced PIs of Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Programs to help new REU site PIs prepare to run an effective and efficient REU site. This project specifically aims to create a set of web-based resources to help new REU PIs. To do this, the research and evaluation team will conduct interviews with expert and novice REU PIs to determine areas of need. The team will then assemble the web-based resources with the help of expert REU PIs. The evaluation will focus on identifying areas of need and evaluating the effectiveness of the web-based resources.
